Sedana Medical originated from a product
that we today know as Sedaconda ACD.

In the 1990s, a prototype was developed that was able, through a special formulation of activated carbon, to reflect 90 percent of exhaled anaesthetic gas without reflecting carbon dioxide. The initial idea was to develop a new and inexpensive general anaesthetic system; following input from intensive care specialists, development was focused on sedation in intensive care.

This is the Sedana Medical history in short.
