Tell us about how you encountered Sedana Medical and why you joined Sedana Medical.

Before I joined Sedana Medical, I worked as a nurse in intensive care for about 15 years. It was during this time I first came in contact with the company and the products. As we increased the use of Sedana Medicals products in the hospital where I worked, I met employees from the company on a regular basis. With the company’s increasing success and expansion, they started to look for more employees. I was asked if I was interested in a new role as Key Account Manager, responsible for the west part of Germany. After giving it some thought, I accepted and now I am hooked.

What do you do as a Key Account Manager?

In my role, I am always in close contact with the customers, both the existing customers but also new ones. I describe myself as my customers' voice to Sedana Medical but also the ambassador for Sedana Medical to my customers. My responsibilities include, among many other things, training the staff in the intensive care unit, in the use and set-up of our products.

What brings you the most joy in this role?

There are two things that bring me the most joy.

The first thing is close contact with the intensive care units. Once an intensive care nurse - always an intensive care nurse.

I have learned a lot in my 15 years as an intensive care nurse, and I can use this knowledge in my daily work and learn new things as well. I have experienced the same challenges as they have, I know how stressful everyday life is in the ward. And that's what makes it easy - we share the passion for intensive care medicine.

The second thing is the team. We are all team players. Collaboration and supporting each other are very important to us. We are in close contact, even though hundreds of kilometers separate us. We exchange ideas, help each other, and meet regularly. For me, this is unique and an important key to success.

What makes Sedana Medical stand out as an employer?

Sedana Medical is a young and innovative company with employees all over the world and although the company is growing, togetherness and personal contact are still very important. One example - all new employees are invited to the headquarter in Sweden during their introduction. It doesn’t matter what country, role, or function you are working in, everyone gets the same opportunity to get to know the company.

Another thing that makes Sedana Medical a good employer is that they are investing in the employee's development. We receive regular training and development. This increases my satisfaction and makes me more professional in my role.
