About the job

The R&D department is expanding, and we are now looking for a Project Manager to join our team at the global headquarters in Danderyd, Sweden. Together with colleagues, you will contribute to the further development of technology within our existing devices.

The purpose of the position

Be responsible for overall project management for medical devices in the company. Work in close collaboration with other departments to secure transparency and efficiency in product development and in preparation for market introduction of new products.

Be responsible for establishing project and product documentation, in close cooperation with the Q/RA department of the company.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Project Management of R&D Medical Device projects, and in close collaboration with commercial department evaluate and initiate product development projects in line with the company’s overall strategies.
  • Refine project development process and ways of working, to secure efficient time to market.
  • Establish project and product documentation to secure market access.
  • Drive product development and business development projects.
  • Support regulatory submissions.
  • Support Q/RA, marketing, logistics, and sales team from a technical and development standpoint.

Key Competencies and Skills:

  • Leading and management skills.
  • Competence to manage multiple projects at once and be results oriented.
  • Good communication and influencing skills, with excellent English.
  • Good engineering and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with international standards and regulations related to medical device development, and medical device regulatory requirements, e.g., MDR, FDA.
  • Capability of having a strategic as well as practical view on product development.
  • Capability to evaluate the customer demands and use that knowledge to prioritize and initiate business development projects.
  • Must be eligible to visit the USA, China, and other areas for business related travel.
