We continue our growth journey and are now looking for a new team member in Spain to drive the sales growth and be responsible for launching our inhaled sedation therapy in the region.

As a Key Account Manager at Sedana Medical, you will drive the sales growth and be responsible for launching our inhaled sedation therapy in your territory, including the medical device Sedaconda ACD and the pharmaceutical product Sedaconda (isoflurane), to be launched in 2022.

We are dedicated to improving patient outcomes in the field of critical care, and we are looking for someone who will help us reach our vision to make inhaled sedation a global standard therapy for critical care patients.

You are expected to proactively identify local and regional business opportunities and recommend solutions to drive and develop the business. The work involves planning, implementing, and following up on sales activities and developing relationships with key customers.

Essential duties and responsibilities

  • Build, develop and manage long-term relationships with key accounts and the broader critical care ecosystem.
  • Identify and prioritise accounts with strategic value to Sedana Medical.
  • Responsible for training/initiation/set-up of new hospitals/ICUs.
  • Contribute to the development of Sedana Medical's business strategy locally by generating a relevant understanding of customers' needs & perceptions.
  • Drive cross-functional and cross-regional collaboration to maximise Sedana Medical's business performance.

About you

Moreover, you have:

  • An Academic degree or equivalent, healthcare background.
  • Experience in the field of intensive care.
  • 3-4 years of relevant experience with solid sales results.
  • Ability and willingness to travel within the region and broader according to project needs.
  • Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken Spanish. You are also comfortable with the English language, which is our company language.
  • A valid driver’s license.
